When it comes to leverage in your business it can mean the difference between closing your doors for good and profiting more than you ever dreamed. Once you get the hang of it and start applying the laws of leverage in your time, marketing, and income streams….there really is no stopping you from growing your business significantly and sometimes it can feel like overnight!
As I was interviewing a friend and Twitter expert, Keith Keller using Skype the other day, the conversation centered around the universal appeal to leveraging your time. Hey, If you know me at all you know I don’t like to use the word ‘impossible’…however, it may feel at times like ‘it’s near impossible‘ to compete with BIG business when you don’t have leverage on your side.
You need leverage in your social media marketing with the use of automation while using HootSuite, as well as in your income streams.
It doesn’t matter what business you are in whether you are in the service based industry or you sell a single product, you can create a leveraged income stream.
For example: If you are a photographer, why not expand your income by creating what I call a ‘leveraged’ income stream, such as, taking your business into the school photography market? This is a perfect income stream for the right photographer. Yet another example of leveraged income would be to teach a class to other photographers in a workshop environment while using your expertise to teach several students at once. Trust me, there are other photographers that are not yet at your level and need your guidance and education. You become the consultant and when teaching several photographers/students at once, you have just exploded your income potential with whatever ‘niche’ you are teaching. The ways to create leveraged income are endless and great fun.
Trust me, after you tap into a leveraged income stream while taking your expertise and finding a niche within it….you will become more creative at finding other ways to create more of the same. In fact, you will realize just how much potential income you were ignoring and wonder why you were ‘slaving away’ while exchanging hours for dollars during all of those ‘lean years.’
